South Goa info needed (1 Viewer)

Always learning
I'm going to Goa for New Year for 10 days. I will be spending the first half of this time in North Goa for which I have found a wealth of information. However, I'm struggling to find any info on the South of the region.

Has anybody been around the Agonda Beach and Palolem Beach areas who can give me a few pointers?

Thanks :t:

Molem is the obvious area inland for forest birds. Any marsh or area with ricefields should deliver the more common birds.

should deliver as many as 6 species of kingfisher (Collared, Black-capped, Stork-billed, the most-wanted). This is not really Southern goa, but as you probably pass there, I couldn't resist to share this.

More good info about Northern goa here: http://billbaston.com/Goa2007_Intro.html
