I'm going to Lagos in Portugal on Saturday for two weeks and wondered if anyone know good spots for Birding. I've got some bird books for references.

If you let me know if you will have a car here or be on foot - and if so roughly which side of Lagos you will be staying - or in the centre I'll give you some info from a local 
It will be very hot I think - so birding only really worthwhile the first 3-4 hours of daylight - and maybe a bit a dusk. Many songbirds are singing much less now - eg; Nightingale, but still going a bit early morning.
