I think you're right.

It is probably Macrolepiota procera, or Parasol Mushroom. Typically the cap is ~6" across, height ~12", found on grassland. A nice feature that is characteristic of Macrolepiota and similar species is that you can move the ring along the stem i.e. it is not attached.
