Hi can anyone help with a Fungi i photographed today?

A complete novice to fungi but have found some great examples. As I love Photograpghy they are great for capturing as they dont move!

it looks like Velvet Shank to me, but I'm certainly no expert!

I'm sure that someone will be able to tell you for sure,

Yes, it is Velvet Shank, Flammulina velutipes, a classic winter fungus.
