At the side of my garden I have 2 large fir trees which have been lopped to about 10" tall. 2 weeks ago I fixed a robin nest box to one of them just inside the foliage line.

To day I saw one of our robins with nest material in its beak, thought great its using the box. Trouble is it flew to the tree next to the one where I fixed the box. Obvisouly a self build enthuiast. Well I tried.

its sods law. you feed em, water em and give em a nice warm house but they go and spite you.
