Help needed. Nikon DCF HP 8x42 performance (1 Viewer)

Searching and trying to decide my next bin purchase, I came with a new condition bin as described. I could not be able to find reviews and specs on the net to get an opinion. This are being sold below US$80 and I'm wondering if this bin is good enough for serious birding. I kenw this are not waterproof (as the Sporters), but water resistant.

Any help will be greatly welcomed.
