Wednesday 9 July Channel Five have two documentaries set in the Amazon; neither is specifically wildlife, but the first concerns an ecotourist boat on the river and may show a few birds.

8.00 Death on the Amazon
9.00 Search for the Lost City of Gold

Apparently both might put you off going there, featuring some of the things that can go wrong.
