Leica Duovid 10+15 X 50 (1 Viewer)

A bit of a monster at 44 oz.weight (some 1.2-1.4 kilos). Why not get a small Leica,10x32, and a scope? The scope would get you decent views at 25x to 40x, even a cheap one. But your way will work too, for some ducks etc.

for a discussion of weight issue on 50mm bins.

The 10x part is quite useable , FOV (10x) 295 ft./1000 yds. Have not seen this, only the small Leicas.

Looking for any comments on the above bins, to use with birding and animal watching.
Thanks
Hari
I just got mine, Duovid 10+15 X 50 a week ago. I used it with a monopod and it works well. I compared it with swarovski slc 15x56. I liked the duovid better. I love to watch birds with both eye opened. It is more comfortable and gives you 3D image. You can go on wathing birds without having rest.

I got some good advice here when I was serching 15x bins. Thank you guys so much.
