Aww, Bob that's lovely. A 'real' squirrel. All we have here are North American Tree Rats (grey squirrels ;))

Yes JR,I am glad to say we have'nt got the Grey variety over here ,but these guys are great to watch burying nuts and acorns,I think this one was checking out a larder in the olive tree!

LOL.. sure looks like he's sitting on his doorstep waiting for the food to be delivered to him! (if it had been me, I'd be routing out for olives ;)) As JR says, lucky you Bob, reds are rather elusive in my neck of the woods, only seen them in Scotland (and on Isle of Wight,years back).
