Paul,

I would suggest you ask in the BF section where the camera specialists are:
BirdForum > Photography, Digiscoping, Art & Equipment > Andy Bright's Digiscoping Forum > Digiscoping cameras

Steve

Just about any compact with a 3x optical zoom shoulk work just fine for digiscoping... other than that look for a good quality lens and a decent screen... lots of talk about cameras in the area of the forum that Steve suggested.

As an aside I notice that Kowa are producing two DSLR adapters for the new range of scopes - one is fixed 950mm adapter and the other is a 650-1000mm zoom! Will be very interesting to see how they perform.

Thank, yes I should have posted this in the other forum My mistake. And I am thinking F30 or Nv3.

Paul

Both seem to be very capable cameras, personally I'd go for the Fuji F30 if I were buying a new digiscoping camera today...
