Yup, they are really stuck and apparently have been stuck for a week already.
I'm figuring they'll be helicoptered out before long.
I'll see if I can find a story on it.

We can at least hope that there is considerable collateral damage to the sealing fleet. Might make it less finacially viable in the future.

It is a mystery to me why the seal hunt continues. The income obtained is marginal in comparison to the damage done to Canada's reputation.
It should be an easy matter to outlaw the hunt and provide compensation. It would be a drop in the bucket, and hardly to be noticed among the many extravagances our politicians have with our money.

I agree, that's why I tried in my first post to imply that the rescuers where only pretending to be stuck.
