Swift Behavior (1 Viewer)

The swifts that normally nest in my eaves are causing me some concern. They keep flying up to the eaves, looking at them, and flying off immediately without going in, as though the entrance was blocked, yet the eaves have not been touched.
Is this normal behavior, ie they are 'staking out' the potential nest site before going in?
Ta in advance.

Have you looked inside to where they want to go, it could be that you have a wasp nest in there which may be putting them off.

That's all I can come up with anyway.|=)|
