Yonok Wetlands (1 Viewer)

Anyone heading to Thailand over the next year would do well to visit the Yonok Wetlands near Chiang Saen. Mick Davies and Dowroong Danlammajak have initiated a conservation project there and have already managed to get hunting stopped and the local community involved. This will help to protect nesting Grass Owls and the largest harrier roost in Thailand.

Visiting this area and paying for Mick and Dowroong's guiding services will support bird conservation in Thailand and help finance English/Environment lessons for the local community and survey work.
