Poll About Autumn Hunting In Malta - Please Vote!! (1 Viewer)

The wording of the poll could be taken to mean that anyone who votes 'no' is doing so because they don't want any laws on hunting. I can't vote on this one, but I curse any hunter who shoots even one bird.

Its true....the wording is misleading. The truth is that these new laws restrict the hunting season even more. So voting "yes", would at least indicate a step in the right direction, even if more needs to be done, otherwise the "No" vote can also mean to reduce such laws.

It is a badly worded poll.

I think as zeebow suggests it is perhaps aimed at those with a more local perspective.

I voted yes and read it as:-

Yes = you agree with new rules being introduced.
or
No = you are opposed to new rules being introduced.

I don't think the poll as written could be intended or could possibly achieve, an indication of peoples opinions on the eficacy of the rules.

I also mentioned the above in the comment box of the voting form.

I didn't know about the 'comment' box available after voting-this made a difference! Thanks
