To the exsperts out there:

A friend inherited these great binos and was wondering when they were made.
I guessed earley/mid sixsties, but some of you will probably know better. They are good as new optically, but the rubber eyecups are going. Can these be replaced? Can they be ordered from somewhere?

The Zeiss 7x50B porro's were produced from 1961 through 1969. The serial number starting with 61 dates these specimens back to round about 1963.

Enjoy,
