Troublesome Birds - Japan (1 Viewer)

Cape Ochiisi

Stonechat -- Siberian only form on the Japan checklist in Avibase
Wryneck - Eurasian? -- correct
Treecreeper -- Eurasian

Tobishima

Swinhoe's Robin - Rufous-tailed Robin? -- seems correct

Northern Sparrowhawk - Eurasian? there seems to be three accipiters in Japan:
Japanese Sparrowhawk Accipiter gularis
Eurasian Sparrowhawk Accipiter nisus
Northern Goshawk Accipiter gentilis
Which of them fits the bill i dont know

Common Stonechat -- Again most likely an old entry with the pre-split name: Siberian should be the one now present
Hoopoe - Eurasian? --correct
Wryneck - Eurasian? -- Yes
Short-toed Lark -- Greater presumably; lesser is rare/accidental according to Avibase
Siskin - Eurasian? -- Eurasian Siskin Carduelis spinus is on the checklist

Cheers
Niels

Thanks Niels
