Just to bring things completely up to date. I alluded in my last blog-offering to Oystercatchers.
One arrived last weekend which was joined by its mate this weekend. I went to the Flashes to see the Avocet yesterday and outstayed the other birders (I was trying to get some decent pictures). I swear that when the others went the birds came closer! Anyway, I was just about done when I noticed that the numbers of Oystercatchers had doubled to four (the second pair must have arrived... |
