In The Town Park (1 Viewer)

It is such a beautiful evening the birds sing on the sunlit trees
I sit in the cool shade of the lilly pilly enjoying the freshening breeze
A beautiful day for the Autumn a high of 28 and a low of 24
One might say almost perfect weather than this could anyone wish for more?

People in their Summer wear out walking and some jog and others do run
And parents with their young children sit in the tree shade out of the sun
In the blue sky only a few gray clouds and rain it seems so far away
Only the saddest one could not feel happy on this very beautiful day.

The traffic on the street may be noisy where buses, trucks and cars pass up and down
But birds they are chirping and singing here in the green park of the town
The lorikeets chirp in the sunshine and the gray noisy miners call
One might say 'tis beautiful weather and far more like Summer than Fall.

In the Townpark on an Autumn evening in the cool shade of a lilly pilly tree
I can hear the magpie larks calling the birds known to some as pee wee
A freshening breeze from the sea blowing in what is near to a perfect day
And children in the nearby play-ground are laughing with joy as they play.
