Help Support Vulture Conservation
Posted Friday 13th July 2012 at 21:08 by ranalobo
The more conservationists I meet, the more I am impressed by how many talented, dedicated, and passionate people there are in the world who are devoting much of their lives to protecting a species, a landscape, an ecosystem.
I had the opportunity to visit Dr. Munir Virani in Kenya and observe first hand the amazing work he is doing for raptor conservation. He is participating in TED talks, with a short presentation on "why he loves vultures". It is definitely worth watching. He combines humor, biology, culture, and history to highlight the importance of these winged scavengers.
