Living close to Greenham Common is fantastic if you're into bird watching.

Tens years on from its closure, the former US Air Base has now been turned back into a nature reserve offering over 1000 acres of mixed heathland, rich in natural diversity and a haven for birds, including the rare Dartford Warbler. The Common is also home to several endangered ground nesting birds including the increasingly scarce Woodlark.
