Heron eating an eel. Botton of the stuary (1 Viewer)

IMG_5586.JPG
In the bridge of the Ulla River in Catoira, the river quadruples its size to half a kilometer wide and the influence of the sea is becoming more apparent. There were a number of mallards under the bridge. This heron was in Catoira side beside the ruined towers. Obviously there were a lot of lesser black headed gulls and yellow-legged ones.
From Punta Palleiro Arousa Stuary begins, here already has more than a mile at the narrowest part. The influence of the tide in Rial is brutal, leaving an intertidal almost five hundred meters. What is in the botton of the photo is Bamio, two kilometers across the Stuary.
