Pond of Soto de las Juntas. Second sighting hut. (1 Viewer)

IMG_8910.JPG
I kept seeing great crested grebes in the second sighting hut while it started to rain.
In the distance I saw an egret. In fact I had seen it overflying me from the first sighting hut, but from there it was impossible to see it.
Also appeared more black necked grebes, I saw two groups of two. Two thrushes flew beside me. Coots were also present. 200 meters across the pond and the rain I saw two little grebes. And thanks to a couple of colleagues who arrived with a scope I saw this purple swamphen, among the reeds of the other corner
Anyway to see this bird, almost stant in Europe, I will show better photos next week after my visit to El Mar de Ontígola in Aranjuez.
