Colin's Bird Diary - 30th October 2007 (1 Viewer)

Ashleworth Ham Nature Reserve.

A glorious, warm, sunny and calm morning with stunning autumnal colours lit up by the bright sunshine. I made a short visit to the Ham and found few birds there partly because of a working party burning brash. However, there were still many Fieldfares and Redwings in the hedgerows away from the work. 5 Wigeon were moving around the reserve where there were 8 Mute Swans and the 2 Canada Geese. A female Stonechat was near Colways Farm as usual and the Great Grey Shrike was present on Hasfield Ham for its 14th day.
