Where have all the birdies gone? (1 Viewer)

We live in a quiet cul-de-sac near a wooded dene. Usually we have a huge selection of small birds such as finches and blue tits.
But for about 3 months they appear to have vanished! A neighbour opposite has 6 cats and I was wondering if that had anything to do with there disappearance? But we also have a lot of magpies and rooks around. Can anyone advise what might scared all our small birdlife away?
