Soto de las Juntas on first day of the summer I. Chicks of coots and moorhens. (1 Viewer)

IMG_7757.JPG

Some black kites are always seen in the pond, easier to photograph if they perched on a branch.
In the first sighting hut I saw a black-necked grebe. Really it was part of a couple in mate.
The great crested grebe are the king of the pond.
Two coots with two chicks. Although each one seemed concerned only for one chick.
I kept seeing more black-necked grebes.
And more great-crested grebes as this couple whose male was still making some bridal dances. Just once answered by the female.
A little Grebe
Morhen chicks, more coot chicks, and a young coot.
