Pond of Soto de las Juntas. End of October. First sighting hut. (1 Viewer)

IMG_8548.jpg
From the parking to the first sighting hut there is an almost a mile walk in which usually abound goldfinches.
Once in the sighting hut I saw before me a pair of great-crested grebes, perhaps the most common bird in the pond.
Already beginning to appear the first signs of spring plumage that will not be completed until February or March.
In the pond there is a good number of coots too.
A group of three black-necked grebes crossed the waters after the great-crested one.
