Wheatear Sighting (1 Viewer)

Wheatear sightings on Greenham Common herald the start of the autumn migration where these birds stop off on heathland on their way back to Africa.

A pair of Wheatears were spotted on the disused central runway area of the Common this morning, Tuesday 18th September. I was lucky enough to be able to get quite close and get a decent picture (attached).
