I forgotten all about it. There were a few videos which I took from my digiscoping unit while guiding a birder from southern England.

Check out the followings:

Black-capped Kingfisher

Back from a guiding tour

Posted Friday 21st March 2008 at 15:29 by wengchun
hi,

I just came back from a 6 days bird guiding tour following the traditional birding route with an extra birding patch just before we leave for the airport. You can check out a thread which I posted on http://www.birdforum.net/showthread....94#post1155794.

I have included videos taken through digiscoping / videoscoping.

This is my 4th trip up to Fraser's Hill (3 times for bird watching and 1 time for trekking). It was misty when we reached the hill station. Although it was misty, I considered today as the best day ever for birding in a misty condition. We did not get many birds but still the birds we found were quality birds (very subjective, eh?). Nevermind. The last bird we saw before leaving the hill station is the Red-headed Trogon (first for this year). And i must mentioned my lifer that i managed today -...

Merlimau Paddy Field, Malaysia

Posted Tuesday 4th March 2008 at 12:47 by wengchun
It's been a great birding weekend with my guests from US visiting a newly discovered bird watching site in a paddy field.

I managed to bagged 2 LIFERS!
1. baillon's crake
2. ruddy-breasted crake

These 2 crakes are among the 30 birds seen in the morning. For the whole list, read my blog at http://www.nature2pixel.com/blog/?p=178

4. black-headed bulbul
5. orange-bellied flowerpecker
6. yellow-vented bulbul
7. greater green leafbird
8. gold-whiskered barbet
9. greater racket-tailed drongo
10. peaceful dove
