I am getting ready to head for Minnesota on January 21, 2012. I have been on several trips up around Duluth, Minnesota in January. I have seen some birds which are not usually seen (some not seen) in Missouri. This year I would like to target three (3) species, BOHEMIAN WAXWING, SPRUCE GROUSE & BOREAL OWL. I have been watching the Minnesota listserve and the BOWA and SPGR seen to be in "short supply". The BOOW is not even being mentioned in the various field trip lists. But, I can hope!
