saving baby blue birds that fell from nest

Posted Tuesday 6th May 2008 at 17:05 by surfbird
I need help saving baby blue birds that fell from a nest, there are 4 chicks. They do not have feathers yet but are big chicks. I picked them up, put them back in the nest, and then put their nest close to where it was. The parents saw the chicks and where chirping like crazy, but I saw the mama bird return to the nest at its new location. Do you think that the birds will be OK? Is there anything else that I can do to help the babys? Will the scent of me hinder the babys being accepted by mama bird?...
