slimbridge

Posted Sunday 15th November 2009 at 15:38 by Espen
Good birding at Slimbridge recently with the wilsons phalarope(which has gone now but was showing well infront of the zeiss hide)Richard's pippits Which sadly were in a private area,Sabine's gull etc. and the general flow of migrants like fieldfare, redwing and the wintering wilfowl like bewick's and white fronts'.Crinkly hasn't arrived yet but has possibly been sighted, and should be arriving any moment, Hopefully!

I saw this bird at my school the other day, I am pretty sure it is a glaucous gull but could anyone confirm that?
