A Very Early Sweet Violet

I was surprised to find about 100 wild Sweet Violets in flower today, given that we've had a week of hard frosts. Having said that, there was frost damage to the leaves and many flowers looked rather damaged as well.
Beautiful smell.

Violets are always a treat for us! Very showy that brightens the woods up with fabulous color. TFS L&D!!!!!
