Bald Eagle Adult YELL-WINT SER (Haliaeetus leucocephalus)

This bird was perched on a dead tree beside the Madison River. It swooped down to capture fish in the river. The largely fast-flowing river was mostly ice free due to an unseasonably warm winter.
