Barn Swallow (Hirundo rustico)

Male here is one of hundreds seen over Missouri river monday morning. Some have been here for awhile. But thousands of various neo-trops blew in with a storm front over past couple days. All generally following mississippi river valley corridor.

Excellent in flight picture of this gorgeous Swallow Bill. That must have been an exciting event to be present for. They continue to blow by us. Well done!!!
