Bassian Thrush ssp cuneata Mt Lewis May 2 2021 IMG_9989.jpg (Zoothera lunulata cuneata)

Feeding on the track up Mt Lewis at 0830, this isa shy and skulking bird, often most active late afternoon and just after dawn, and they sing at the same times too. This race cuneata used to be known as the Atherton Ground Thrush, who knows, if someone does the genetic stuff etc it might get split again

Pretty looking thrushes these I think; sadly I didn't see this one on my trip.
