Bath time for the Finches (Taeniopygia bichenovii)

The Double-barred Finches were really enjoying the water provided by the Broome Bird Observatory. We were there at the end of the dry season, which runs from April to November.

Bit puzzled by the 'end of the dry season - Nov-April'; you were there in Oct, so I'd have thought it was the beginning? Or what am I misunderstanding LOL (I've had a traumatic morning so likely I've got it wrong!!!)
