Cabanis's Spinetail (Synallaxis cabanisi)

This foothill spinetail, which is quite scarce in Central Peru, where it reaches the edge of its distribution, turned out to be incredibly skulking, much more so than the previous species. This is a juvenile, as the only photos I ever managed of the adults were even worse.
