What a great picture. How did you get so close, or did he fly and perch near you? Ever since I got into photography I've wanted to capture a buzzard perched, but they always eluded me.
 
I tried dor a year before i got a good close up of a buzzard but since then i have managed many times- most of which are from hides. This image was taken from a hide with a drinking pool which many birds use.thanks.
 
What a magnificent study of this buzzard - great detail.
