Crimson Rosella (Platycercuselegans)

Took a walk in the forest today. We've had months of hot weather and disastrous fires in my state. Threats of local fires had me on the roof clearing gutters with ash falling around. Since then we've had a few days of mild weather and light rain. The fire threat has passed for the moment. I needed to get back to nature. 2 hours serenaded by lyrebirds, surrounded by Crimson Rosella's, Galah's and Sulphur-Crested Cockatoo's, total of 20 species sighted, 230 photos.
Smiling again!
