Fulmar

Fulmar

I spent over an hour yesterday trying to get a half-decent image of a fulmar. I reckon that it would be easier taking good pictures of humming birds using only your sense of smell!
Habitat
Cliffs, sea
Location
Seaton Sluice
Date taken
31/8/05
Equipment used
Nikon D70, Sigma 135-400mm
Thanks all.

I admit I was pleased with this one, and apart from a bit of resizing and (over?) sharpening, it's straight out of the camera, with no noise reduction.

I feel I'm finally getting to grips with the camera/lens now.

Actually I got one shot which - to my eyes - was much better, sharp and "arm's length" close.

But I chopped the right wing tip off!
