Garden Fly, more like... (Musca domesticus)

This housefly is showing why it's not just the bees that deserve some good press for pollinating flowering plants.

It's not the best macro lens but you can snap from far enough away to not spook things. The sweet spot seems to be around 200-300mm for size:pic ratio but it's handy having the zoom range if you haven't got time to shift position.
