Very nice Andy. The D2X and Nikon converter seem to be working well. Seems like Nikon have sorted out their noise issues with the D2X, Great shot

Thanks, Neatimage applied to bg but not the subject (which is what i do most of the time, or at least remove 70% of neatimage from subject). Detail holds up well at iso800 and the noise really does look more like traditional film grain than anyother digital i've seen... though personally, i'd still rather not have it in abundance. A well exposed iso800 shot on the D2x really isn't a problem as far as noise goes, little real difference compared to the Fuji S2
 
What is it about the smallest of birds having the feistiest of expressions? LOL! A super shot, Andy! Beautiful detail.
