thank you for your comments on my rufous-bellied thrush. I fully agree with you that it is always a thrill to see related species of bird families in different parts of the world. I've had the chance to travel several continents and thrushes are indeed an ideal family to illustrate the marvels of evolution.

I've just checked back and it was the Autumn of 2006 that I went to Bough Beech!
