Handheld Waxwing 2 (Bombycilla garrulus)

Up close and personal - on 31st October 2010 the Grampian Ringing Group were working in Allenvale Cemetery taking advantage of the influx of Waxwings in the city. They very kindly allowed me to take some shots of the birds in the hand, this is the second shot I've uploaded

A marvellous close up view. We've had a few around the area but I've not connected with any yet this Autumn.
