Headless warbler (Saturday Fun) (Phylloscopus collybita)

Delia's Starling reminded me of this...

The first Chiffchaff I'd seen in 2019, and it may well be the last. The bird allowed two almost identical shots but was uncooperative in both :(

Having recently posted a dark-legged Willow Warbler, how certain is it that this is a Chiffchaff? Well, the wings seem just about short enough for Chiffchaff, and the feet look dark (they were paler in the Willow Warbler). Would have been nice to see the head though...

probably found a nice meal among those leafs, John, excellent behavioural capture, many tfs!!!
