Kestrel with an ex-sparrow
There is a disused monastery with a large population of House Sparrows - the local Kestrel pair wreak havoc, but there always seems to be a good supply of spuggies!

Brilliant shot, outstanding. Impressive detail in both the Kestrel and prey. It's relatively unusual to see Kestrels taking birds (though I've seen them try) as they tend to go for rodents, insects etc, so this is also a great behavioural image.
