Not sure which sparrow this is-btw, this was at the Tucker Wildlife Sanctuary where we went for my B-day today. It was loads of fun!

Female or juvenile finches (Purple, House or Cassin's). I would send it to the ID forum if wanted to know for sure. Excellent double capture of these beauties. I look forward to seeing the your posts tomorrow. Maybe another clue will in there. Thanks for sharing AS!!!

That's a lovely birthday picture Josh. Such great feeder action.

I guessed they were finches, and agree with Stanley, that you should post them in the ID forum to find out what they are. It would be particularly nice if they turned out to be Cassin's, as we don't see many of them turning up in the Gallery.

Very well done lad - a super birthday treat for you.
