Great shot!! I've only ever been able to get one photo of this bird in May and haven't sighted it since. Do you get a few up there? Thanks for sharing!
 
Nice one. I saw one in my backyard, on a palm tree, after a white-gaped honeyeater left the tree. I have seen some mistletoebirds here in Townsville, the other ones are in the riverbank (Ross River), near a figtree, near mangrove area. I also saw some at the foot of Mt. Stuart, in James Cook University eucalypt bush.
 
I've been looking for twelve monthes still not seen one And was in pinre creek a few weeks ago too. A good bird to capture well done
