Nice deodorant this one
Wandering the country roads above Blairgowrie, I wondered what the blob was on top of a dead tree. Turned out to be a Common Starling, a juvenile changing into his winter spots.

Looks like the changes are not coming fast enough for this youngster. It has to keep checking its plumage to see if anymore adult plumage has come in (lol). Terrific D! TFS!
