Peacock Butterfly ~ Early riser (Inachis io)

I was quite taken aback on Thursday when looking out the window I saw a Butterfly in the garden, rushed out with the camera and managed to get a few pictures of it on the Viburnum. Will dedicate this one for Manjeet it will be calming influence for him.

Lovely angle to capture this Butterfly, Marmot: it is beautiful but besides we see him "working" with his tongue. :) Lovely soft colours in the setting and BG. Cheers!

What a lovely butterfly is this peacock! We don't have it here.. By the way, do you think it workek with Doc?
